Bill spent his entire 21-year federal government career with USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS)where he served as a senior leader with responsibility for all of AMS’ Congressional, regulatory, and FOIA activities. His years at USDA provided him with expert knowledge of formulating and implementing federal agriculture policy, including through his work with Congress and through the regulatory and rulemaking processes. Bill earned a master's degree in Political Management from George Washington University and spends as much time as possible on the 7th generation family farm in southern Virginia.
